Anyone here purchase Alberto Nunez's Bodybuilding Beyond the Basics program?
 
I purchased Alberto Nunez's Bodybuilding Beyond the Basics from Kizen Training. It's an Upper/Lower 2x per week split. I find it odd though. The template has you using only one exercise from each muscle group i.e. horizontal push, vertical row, etc. and he calls these your Big 6 movements followed by some single-joint accessories. You use the same movements twice per week utilizing different rep ranges each day. One is a lowerish strength workout while the other is a higher rep day.

Wouldn't this be sort of sub-optimal to be only using one exercise per movement plane throughout the week? I would feel like I'm missing out on some potential gains if my only horizontal pushing movement was bench press with no additional chest work. Same for back.

Plus, each major muscle group only has 7 or so direct sets per week.

4 on strength day.
3 on higher rep day.

I know Schoenfield recommends 10+ sets per week per muscle group.

He is using DUP. I use his full-body DUP 4x week template and it's awesome.

Do exactly as he says, he is one of the best natural bb coaches in industry IMO.

Looks like GBR, so I'd say it's fine.

Are you advanced enough for any of this to matter? Sometimes the best thing is just to lift heavy things and then repeat a couple of days later. The perfect is the enemy of the good.

Hi OP since you purchased the program would you mind giving a review of it or a bit of information on what's included, likes, dislikes or whatever? Or anyone else who has bought it

I've searched YouTube and the interwebs looking for views on it but it's pretty sparse (prob because so recent). The kizen website also doesn't give a whole lot away either. Thx
