New Resource for Protein Price Comparison

Powerlifter Jamie Lewis of Chaosandpain.blogspot.com (NSFW Warning) Has put together a spreadsheet listing 63 brands of protein, along with price per pound and gram. You can see the list below

https://mega.co.nz/#!aN0UQSLY!GE0EQH...Rc54KHOIfp58tI

This is the original blog post (PG13 Version) where he talks about "protein spiking" and how companies can "add nitrogenated amino acids to raise the listed protein content"

Not sure how much of the article is hyperbole, maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can whey in.

Gnc names a few protein makers of spiking. But according to the lab results in the link you posted isn't gnc doing the same?

I would look around for more of this lists. Most of the time there is either bias (person doing it is sponsored or its done by a company) or people have the wrong data....So who is Jamie Lewis sponsored by and how do they do on the test? Also the original blog post is looking more at how much filler a protein has in it.

The problem is most people see a list, jump into believing it and stick with that protein till they die...ex: slickdeals.net where i find most of my deals where the usual members will buy ON when it is $80 for 10lbs and call it an amazing deal.

I personally just shoot for a somewhat natural protein with 6 or less ingredients and a high % of protein and go from there.
