Milk pre-workout

Hey Lyle, I'm curious on your thoughts on milk pre-workout. I ask because 1 scoop protein power + 2 cups skim milk do fall in your guidelines of 30-50g of each for someone my size, but I'm not sure if the carbohydrates from the milk are an ideal choice.

Thoughts?

So long as it doesn't give you stomach upset, I don't see any problem with it.

Thanks Lyle!

I love me 16oz. of low fat Lactaid chocolate milk 45m or so prior to a lifting session...and then again as a post workout.

i thought i heard that milk preworkout leads to quick lactic acid build up. i havent drank milk preworkout since! dont know if its true though but it makes sense

Why does it 'make sense'?

Milk has lactose. Lactose leads to lactic acid build up. It's science.

If it's science, it's the bro variant. Lactose and lactic acid are wildly different things. Hint, one of them is not an acid.
