Yesterday, I decided to run a RFL diet until Dec. 22.

I am Cat 2 ( maybe 3 but according to my home scale, my BF% is below 35).

Here is my stats
Wt: 149.8 lbs
BF%: 33.5
Breast: 36
Waist: 32.5
Hip: 40.5
Thigh: 23
Calf: R-14.5, L-15

Goal is losing about 10 pounds but mainly I want to lose inches from my tummy.

Hey, shoutout! We have pretty similar stats and I am also running Cat 2 RFL into December (my last day is Dec 24). I also am hoping to lose some size on my stomach, though I seem to be losing it from everywhere BUT that area so far. OH WELL. Welcome and good luck -- keep us posted!

Home scales are not accurate.

Anyway, good luck the coming 4 weeks. Most people start dieting after the holidays so you're already one step ahead.

Thanks for the encouragement. I know the home scale is not 100% accurate but I have something to compare after this is over.

November 29-Day 3 morning weigh-in: 148 (-1.2 from 1st day)

Having a difficult time...very hungry and no energy. My body is cold and I don't want to do anything. I wonder it is from cutting carbs or something else. I have some suspicion but can't pin point. It's been only a couple days reducing the carb intake. I feel as if my body is fighting again my will to lose fat. I should weigh less than today's WI since I am just starting. I notice many people lose water wt. quickly just implementing RFL. Not me:mad:.

Ate more food today since I felt so weak. Curious what the scale would show tomorrow morning...

I don't know what happened to yesterday's journal. Any way I weighed 146.2 which is total of 3 pounds loss since Monday(day 1) and only .6 loss from yesterday. My step counts for yesterday was over 26K. I couldn't believe how busy I was.
I am struggling being cold unless I eat some food. I was going to push my 1st meal to until later (after 12P) but so hungry, I ate already 2 meals. I like a big meal in the middle of day rather than small meals thru out the day.

I am feeling better since I got some food in my belly but am very sleepy now. I haven't had a good night sleep since I started this RFL.

Brushed teeth and am ready to go walk to get some step counts.

I can't do small meals throughout the day either. I usually eat about half my food as a late lunch and the other half right before bed. That seems to help me sleep.

I know what you mean about being cold unless you eat! If it helps, when I first started RFL I was extremely cold and food would bring me back to normal. Now I only get a little cold and food makes me really warm. So if you hang in there hopefully you'll adjust as well?

I have been off RFL since last time I logged here. With my monthly event and not a significant progress in my week 1 result, I was in depression. Of course, I ate, ate and ate whatever I want and enjoyed.
I got on the scale this morning and the scale showed 153 pounds with 32.6% BF.

I threw all the stuff I bought just for myself. There are still cookies and other sugary stuff at home...I'm not the only one live in this house. I was thinking that it would have been easy to diet if everyone eats what I should eat. But then, no one puts food in my mouth. I am the one responsible for how fat I am.

So, here I am feeling guilty and trying to get back on RFL. Instead of counting what week or day is(always Day 1 it seems like), I will continue to report what my diet, exercise and mood are here everyday.

My goal for this Saturday is to weigh 148.
Rest of day I will be cleaning up my mess; walking and lifting heavy stuff to burn off calories I've consumed lately.

Your environment plays a huge role when it comes to dieting. The fewer temptations you have, the better. I hope your family (or the ones you're living with) can help to create such an environment.

Do you take vitamin D? Since it's getting darker, you may need it. It may help you with your depression.
