Fruits and their Sucrose/Glucose/Fructose

Sorry if someone else already found this, but I was 'oogling for the fructose in my grapes this morning and found a fantastic table:

Fruits and their Sugars (from the paleo diet website, via nutrition software)

Enjoy!

quick ? based on the chart. How does someone know what % HFCS is in a certain product when all it lists is HFCS and no percentage?

lylemcd 09-04-2009 07:54 PM

What?

PerformanceAthlete 09-04-2009 10:55 PM

HFCS is listed in 3 seperate ways on the chart. 42, 55, and 90 percent fructose. How would someone know which HFCS is in the product whether it be 42% HFCS or 90%.

Does that help clarify?

cycomiko 09-05-2009 01:47 AM

55 is the most common one used in food products.

Lyle did you sticky this thread?

Also i guess it hasn't been established yet that fructose is yummy. and that we are not mice eating 60% of our total calories from it.

Are we talking mono and disakkarides here?

convince me you're not a bot or I'm deleting your account again

Was this thread stickied so that bots see it and realize they are not welcome? I am not sure if that tactic is going to work. :)
