Depending on how restrictive it may be and how often/long you wear it there might be issues with weakening some muscles that are inactive...

There are tablets in the diabetic section of most stores. Tastes like a big sweet tart candy. Actually has an effect and that surprised me because it is such a small amount.

Could be where you are now is a "set point" for you, just an equilibrium that the body fights to maintain....

I think I can go heavier on DL than RDL mostly because DL gives my grip a little break between reps.
