Is 12oz considered a small steak in America? Because down under that is a big filet mignon. 300g+ would be advertised loud and proud on Aussie menus given the perception that it's a big serving.

It's a tricky thing to isolate because deficit invariably = lower carbs. Not necessarily zero carbs, but always lower than maintenance. Have to admit I haven't tested maintenance with low or zero...

Interestingly I clocked up my biggest ever post-refeed weight gain today. 4.1kg / 9lbs and I only had 8.5g carbs per kg LBM over about 12 hours. I wonder if it has anything to do with my total fluid...

The way I did about 4 refeeds over 20 days helped stretch RFL out nicely while I was Cat 1, but post or during vacation you will definately need to go on a proper diet break, no question.

Maybe not the best example, but it depends on the vegetables chosen. It's pretty hard to eat say 1kg of brocolli or spinach. I'd be very surprised if people ate these in quantities that compromised...
