I've injured my left hamstring and I've been to the physical therapist who recommends I continue training my right leg with single leg work as it will 'transfer' to a certain degree to the other leg...

There's no reason to do one or the other. Do both.
If you work every bodypart twice a week you can change it up between workouts. Otherwise I'd do 2-3 sets rows + 1-2 sets pull downs/ups.

Hmm. I think the same rational people use for RFL still applies when taking DNP with it. Great results in a small timeframe. And I don't think PSMF with DNP would necessarily lead to more muscle loss...
