I've read that regular use of antihistamines such as diphenhydramine can have a negative impact on calorie partitioning.

Because you can always lose fat.

You can go all the way from 15% to 8% bodyfat in maybe 12 weeks, more or less, depending on the diet. In the scheme of things, that's not very long.
