I'm cat 2 and doing RFL for a while to get back to cat 1 before going into UD2 to build some mass.

Quick question - I know the book says to spread out the free meal and refeed, but since the free...

Why low fat?

Is reducing fat simply so the number of calories consumed are kept in check or does it screw up one of the mechanisms that this diet is taking advantage of?

Mainly, I'm wondering if I eat higher...

I've tried RFL before as a cat1 dieter too. The first few days can be tough but after that I didn't find it all that bad. Remember, you aren't working out nearly as hard. However, I really don't...

I just double checked and surprisingly enough, Lyle doesn't seem to mention sodium, potassium, or magnesium in the UD2 book. However, the RFL book clearly states the need on low carb diets and I...

what results are you trying to see after 1 day?

As far as the depletion workouts go, yeah, they suck and are painful, but they start getting a little quicker as you get used to the idea.

UD2 will...

thanks. I'll give it a shot this weekend. I have my carb load coming up on Saturday so it will be a good test to see how I feel next week. I just tend to grab whole grain carbs towards the end of...
