Bangin triples won't break nothin. Its worked for me in the past. I'd say give it a go. Just don't run yourself into the ground since you can probably do a ton more than you are used to.

This has been my experience (as well as others) after any sustained large deficit with low carbs. I wonder if something like 5htp is helpful at all? I feel for you, its a really rough spot.

Whats wrong with an EOD protocol? If you want both it won't be the best of both but it is possible to have. With such an active job you shouldn't have any problem adjusting fat levels.
