Hmmm I wonder how circuit training would come under the question posted above Lyle.
Normally when i meet guys who want "general fitness" they ask me if i can advise them on doing something to keep heart rate up, sweat alot and also give them DOMS (obviously muscle but they want the DOMS to tell them they did the work).

Since i am no expert i just tell em to do some circuit training... anything else and they say "you sir failed to please me".
