Default Depletion - Substituting Shoulder Press for Lateral Raise

I was wondering if anyone has tried using shoulder presses to deplete muscle glycogen in their deltoids instead of lateral raises. Of course, bench press is going to deplete the front head of the delts, so it would be important to utilize form that is ensuring stress is placed on the lateral heads.
