If you want to introduce some weightlifting to your routine, that's fine. Just keep the reps lowish, i.e. don't go crazy or otherwise do anything that's obviously overdoing it. Yes, I know this sounds really rough, but that's literally it.
Btw I'm assuming you are familiar with weightlifting in some sense, since you have a home gym.
