Also, note the quote says "tends to". That's not the same as saying "tea never has the stimulating effects of caffeine". Whatever the case, there's a lot more to be said for 'tea' as a stimulant.
Well, most teas have fair amount of theanine (hence the name tea).
But really, who uses tea as stimulant?
