Default Lose To Win 2014

I have successfully moved into my new Apt in the Chicagoland area.

I joined a gym yesterday situated between work and home.

I got the corporate rate, a great gym with lots of amenities and classes.

I joined a competition called "Lose to Win" where men and women compete to lose weight and win prizes.

An 8 week competition where & of weight lost wins it.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place for men and women get cash prizes.

1st place wins $1,000 and that's what I'm going for.

I'm going to stick to a modified RFL approach, only modified because I just started a new job and may have to attend lunches and happy hours regularly, so I will try to stick to RFL as best as possible.

I purchase an Emson Indoor Electric Smoker for my protein.

Yesterday I smoked 7lbs of chicken with a BBQ dry rub, since it was my first time I did it in 3 batches, tweaking each batch. By the 3rd time I had a good idea of the timing per lb.

So far, I am very pleased with the smoker, and look forward to using it frequently.

Cook time for 2-3lbs of chicken is 30 minutes, well worth it.

This week I'll be concentrating on getting back into the gym, acclimating to the new gym, and meeting my new trainer (Lose to Win program comes with 16 group training classes, 2x per week).

Also, I will be concentrating on "Abs by Easter." I'll try my best to get down to 15% BF by Easter.

I'm down 15lbs since Monday's Initial Weigh In.

I'm up 8lbs since Thanksgiving.

Hope to get back to Thanksgiving weight by end of the month.
