Default PS2 gems

I recently dusted off my old PS2 and started playing Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. It's a brilliant game. Highly recommended for SRPG and RPG enthusiasts.

Tenchu: Stealth Assassins is one of my all time favorite games. unfortunately, every subsequent game in that series sucks balls (i can say "balls" here, right?)

I never played any PS2 games.

for the Xbox - Splinter Cell or NFSMW (Need for Speed most wanted for police chase mayhem)

for stealth I fire up the Thief and Thief-II Metal ages on the PC - that is uber-stealthy goodtimes!

Or i'll use dosbox to play the original systemshock. (think bioshock without the snappy graphics)

splinter cell was crap on the ps2. go buy an the original xbox and get the original splinter cell and (better yet) splinter cell chaos theory. two of the best games for that console imho

if you like stealth games, as i do, those are must plays

I have been looking for that game for ages, one of my all time favorites.

Silent Hill and the first Resident Evil games scared the crap out of me as a kid. I remember at the time it looked so "lifelike" that is was truly terrifying!

As a kid the silent hills and resident evils 1-3 looked so real i was playing and jumping at the same time. (too bad i couldnt read (walk thrus) and play. would have saved me a whole lot of junk food falling all over the floor.

Anyway funny after yesterdays reply on this matter on the BF estimate thread i had a dream that lyle made this fourm. I wake up and say "am i on the right forum?"... catch my drift
