![]() I'm going to keep a log here to help keep me honest.
Once upon a time I competed in powerlifting in the the 84kg weight class and I would easily hold my weight around 83kg. Life stuff happened, bereavement(s), illnesses, loss of interest in training, depression, overeating, sitting on my I need to read the rules post.I need to read the rules post.I need to read the rules post. etc. So, at 6' tall I've engorged myself up to a massive 124kg. Summer is such a crappy time to not fit into any of my (nice) clothes and to feel uncomfortable in my own skin. This is the first time in my life I've been overweight/obese. I'm planning to run two 4-6 weeks stints of RFL. I have some (loose) experience running RFL from about 6 years ago when I went from low 80s to around 75kg (with a 26 inch waist no less ![]() This week I've lowered my calories (mostly carbs) significantly so hopefully once I start next week I won't be so terrible. Hoping this helps me with compliance. I'm firmly in category 3, so I compliance will probably be my main hindrance to significant amounts of loss. I'm not sure what to realistically expect to lose from this. I've got a lot to lose. If I manage to stay compliant, I hope to lose at least 8kgs from each 6 week run. After that, I'll see how I feel about about another 4/6 week run. It would be great to go into the new year in the 90s as I'll be visiting the Caribbean early in the new year and it would be super cool not to be obese. |

122.2kg Waist 35.25" Hips 51.5" I'll add daily weight measurements and measure my waist and hips once a week. Food today will be egg whites, low fat cottage cheese, lean beef and green veggies. |

![]() Oh gosh, I'm so sorry I haven't checked this board in a long time! (Clearly!) How did you do?
I started on Dec 11th and have "only" lost 30 lbs of bodyweight, but I am SHRINKING. My clothes are literally falling off and it is very noticeable to others. I'll reach the 3-month mark on March 11th and plan to continue after a refeed day or two since I have until July to meet my goal. It was VERY hard mentally at first and I didn't really get a hang of things until into the second month. Looking forward to hearing how you are doing! I'll try and check this more often to see your reply. :-) |
