Exclamation WN while dieting (Honey as carb-source?)

Hello,

my name is David, i am from germany. My bodyfat is arround 23 % and i am overweight (207 pounds).

I do weight lifting first thing in the morning, and i suggest to ingest a proteinshake mixed with honey (50 gr. whey and 50 gr honey).

half of the shake in the very beginning (pre) and the rest post workout. But i am not sure, whether a Shake is necessary and about the honey.

I read a study that honey is beneficial , even better then dextrose/maltodextrin.

I have a moderate calorie deficit (500-800 cal) and i am eating around 150 gr carbs a day (sometimes less, sometimes more).

What do you think???

I think it doesn't matter.

Since you're cutting, 99.9999% of your results should come from consistently being in a deficit. All other details are so minor.

hoi,

i trained 2 hours in the gym. atfer ingesting 30 gram sugars with whey, i felt phenomenal

seems to be good
