Default Extreme Rapid Fat Loss and Sport

Hi everyone!

I have lost quite some weight over the last year (30 Pounds) and want to give ERFL a shot now, as I have an important event coming up next weekend and I am on holiday for the week.

Now my question is, being pretty active already (6 times weight lifting with light cardio for warm up and running for an hour with no problem), would it be an issue to substitute the 8 hours of walking with say 2 hours on a cross trainer in the morning and jogging for an hour in the evening? Calorie expanditure should be the same as 8 hours of walking, though there would probably be more stress on the body for the duration of the workout than there would be with Walking.

Any thoughts?

Some stats: female, 55, 145 lbs, 28% body fat

Thanks

Maybe, maybe not. Some get away with it, some don't. The higher the training intensity, the more stress on the body, the more risk of burning out.

What's the nature of your event? If it's not related to your physical performance, you might give it a shot and keep us posted.

An hour of jogging daily sounds like a great way to do some damage to your legs if you are not accustomed to that level of intensity and volume. Arguably and hour of brisk walking would be better due to lower impact and similar caloric expenditure.

Thanks to both of you for the input. I'll give it a shot from today and try limit running to a minimum. Did a no carb day yesterday and some very intense workout to deplete glycogen and make water loss a little less influential on weight loss results from today.

Beginning stats

Female, 29 yo, fitness level good
height 164cm 5'4'-5'5
Weight 65,2 kg, 143,7 lbs (1,3lbs water weight gone since yesterday)
Body fat 28%
Measures: legs 53,5, hips 96, waist 83,5, bust 98 (sorry, too lazy to convert from metrics).

I'll keep you updated on sports, nutrition and results.

FYI: there's a Log sub forum. It's probably better to post your progress there.

Thanks for letting me know. I mainly put it in here cause I was asked to keep this updated. I'll continue the diet in the likes of the first day without logging further and just put the end result here then

Yeah, I meant the end result. It doesn't mean the log itself cannot be interesting to read though.
