Default UD2.0 Review and Weight Fluctuations

I have been trying UD2.0 for 2 weeks and have prepared a diet chart according to the book.
Weight - 154lbs. Goal - Fat loss with Muscle retain. BF - 11.6%
Diet -
  • Day1,2,3 - 1200 cals: 60g carbs, 29g fat and 177g protein
  • Day 4 - 900 cals: 48 g carb, 21g fat, 124g protein
  • Day 4PM and Day 5 (Carb refeed) - 824g carbs, 53g fat, 155g protein
  • Day 6 (Power workout day) - 277g carbs, 40g fat, 151g protein
  • Day 7 - 120g carbs, 99g fat, 166g protein

Training -
  • Day 1&2 - Depletion workout with 30min cardio
  • Day 3&4 - Morning 30-45min cardio
  • Day 4pm - Tension workout
  • Day 6 - Power workout
  • Day 7 - Evening 30-45min cardio

I do see some differences in the body in a couple of weeks.(Not that much since I am still getting the diet right.)

Now Lyle says that after carb refeed, your weight should be the same as what it was on Day1. However, on both the weeks, my weight after carb refeed day was 2pounds more than the Day1.
Seems like I am gaining weight but I do feel like I am getting tid bit leaner. Certainly see a bit of muscles/veins showing with my workouts.

Am I doing it right or should I be changing something.
Note:- During carb refeeds I am not that strictly measuring carbs as other days but try to stay in the 800g-900g range. Also I do have 2-3 glass of whiskey on those days.
