Default Source for magnesium citrate?

Where does everybody find this stuff? So far I've tried Walmart (where I buy most my vitamins/minerals) and GNC and both only have magnesium oxide. I guess I could buy online, but I'd hate to pay shipping for something I figured would be cheap anyway.

I'm surprised GNC doesn't have it, I've always gotten the NOW brand online. YOu might check a more general health food type store that sells supplements. I imagine by the time you pay full retail, ordering it online + shipping would be about the same price.

When I saw this thread title, all I could think of was this dark gem from 2006

You can find the liquid version at any pharmacy - ask the pharmacist.

for caps - good luck

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up just buying it from 1fast400 for $15 with shipping for 250 tabs. Looks like it still is cheaper than what The Vitamin Shoppe offers and the closest one is like an hour away anyway.

Bodybuilding.com has the NOW going for 10.99 plus shipping, for 250 tablets(200mg), and they usually send you a free razor heh.

Get it off iherb, in pill, or in powder:

http://www.iherb.com/Solgar-Magnesiu...ets/15366?at=0

http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-Magne...27-g/1101?at=0

Powder is cheaper, the pills are more convenient.

If you can't find citrate you can also search for aspartate, it's good stuff. Failing that, search for lactate or sulfate.

Pretty much every other kind of magnesium supplement is crap.
