Is there any reason why the EC stack should make you drowsy/fatigued? I used to take plain caffeine, which worked beautifully (as a stimulant), but as soon as I added ephedrine to the mix (and I tried all different doses) the same exhausted feelings took effect (although sometimes after 5 or 6 hours I might awaken).

Will the thermogenic effects be the same even if I am sleepy? (As in: should I still be taking the stack anyhow?)

Just a quick chime in, try it when you wake up in the morning, or when you are in a fasted state.

I'll definitely try that. Thanks for the input!

I took my first dose of EC this morning fasted before my cardio workout...felt fine until after my workout.....

I got the same fatigue/drowsiness feeling the above poster did.

I took 24/200, should I just drop the dosage or cut it out all together?

I was originally planning on taking the dosage twice a day; but now I don't think I will because I feel so tired and don't feel like going for my weight workout this evening

Any suggestions??

Lyle has made mention that EC making some one tired is a possibility but I'd say unlikely for the majority.

Anyhow, EC is not a requirement but simply assistance.

In other words, if you don't feel well on it you have a couple of options...

1. Tolerate it.
2. Lower the dosage.
3. Stop taking it.

So you can try half dosages if you want but other than that there's not much anyone can say.

Would this be the same type of person who seems to be calmed down with drugs like Ritalin which are also a stimulant of the amphetamine class?
I knew a guy I grew up with who was given Ritalin as a kid and then got in Crytal Meth and he said he could actualy fall asleep on Crystal Meth. It's almost as if there is some weird crosswired biofeedback loop or somthing that is reversed in certain hyperactive type people.

Maybe. A teammate had ritalin put him to sleep when he was in school. But the interaction of dopamine and sleep function is very complicated and I wonder if they just didn't give him too much.
