As I am approaching BF% (photo) where getting leaner is getting an increasing challenge, I was wondering whether advanced fat loss techniques are actually already beneficial? I am specifically interested in Lyle's SFP, and although I know that I still.do not have stubborn fat, I am wondering whether stuff like 1. Yohimbine and fasted cardio 2. HIT followed by LIS And other stuff described by lyle as advanced fat loss techniques (I don't swear on the terminology) are going to bring any benefit versus straight, simple caloric deficit? My question also comes because I am a former fatty who has lost a ton of weight so my current physiology is not the most favorable one when it comes to keeping a good rate of fat loss in these BF ranges. http://imgur.com/a/AfFBn |

Anyway, I believe you're a long way off it genuinely being hard to lose fat. Better to have a short diet break, regroup, and carry on with regular deficit crap |

My answer remains the same: you're many moons away from having to do anything more complicated than a basic deficit. |

![]() Yeah, I know that fat loss will happen, but my question was more along the lines will yohimbine with casted cardio and other strategies bring any benefit versus just simple caloric deficit, I.e. will fat loss be easier or greater st this stage.

![]() I'll second this. At least 10 lbs away from bothering with that, maybe more. Using yohimbine and fasted cardio will do nothing extra now since your fat is not stubborn.

![]() SFP is for contest prep, you should have no problem losing fat at your current state with just calorie deficit. Consider using it once you got veins popping out of your shoulders, legs and chest.
