Default Potassium supplement choices...

Quick question...

I need (a lot) more potassium in my diet...I am not even close to hitting my numbers.

I can't find Lite Salt or Nu Salt where I am from. I went looking and I found both Potassium Chloride Powder and Potassium Citrate Powder. I figured I will mix it with some Crystal Lite and be good to go...

Similar prices, similar "stats", but what is the difference between Chloride and Citrate? Will it make any difference?

Thanks in advance...

the taste is different.

will that matter to you? only you can define the answer for that.

as for potassium sources - check your veggie intake - some are higher in it than others.
1. Ketosis doesn't matter.
2. Strength training+Protein+DHA/EPA+veggies+vitamins&minerals DOES.
3. Search BEFORE you ask questions.
4. Use google as well - Add "". Google can find those short strings of letters.
5. You are not a rodent so follow up with pubmed ( use "+human" "-rat" "-mouse" modifiers
6. Check the STICKY threads.
7. use google to find all my posts.
8. Supplement evidence
9. Private message are cheerfully ignored.

Don't mean to hijack, but is it okay to supplement with Klor-Con 10 mEq tablets that is by prescription? It's about 750 mg potassium, and Lyle says to supplement up to 1000 mg of Potassium on the PSMF.
