Weight *Day 1: 131.4 lbs *Day 8: 133 (+1.6) *Day 10: 130.8 (-2.2, -0.6) *Day 15: 127.8 (-3.0, -3.6) Activity *Average daily steps from day 8-14: 9,477 steps (goal is 10k/day. Close enough and nice save yesterday) *Had planned to add some high intensity cardio in week 2 but didn't. *Kick it up a notch in week 3 and maybe do some body weight exercise. Food *Average daily calories: ~1570 calories *Good job tracking calories this week and lowering from the earlier runaway calories. *I don't think anything needs to change. I had a bit of a popcorn binge but the 2 lb bag of popcorn is finished so I'll save a few hundred calories/day this week. Thoughts *Down 3.6 lbs in 2 weeks is fantastic! Especially coz I don't feel like I worked that hard. I'm pretty sure I ate at least an average of 2000/day in week 1 (based on my early week 2 tracking, plus I ate a lot of junk food) *I reined things in in week 2 and lowered the intake and I think I'll try to keep it at 1700 or less in week 3. *I exceeded my expectations in week 2, I'll try and keep the momentum going in week 3. *Shooting for 2 lbs this week. It's happened before. And time I accepted I really need to quit dairy. *That, combined with not sleeping enough this week left me fatigued and not feeling like exercising today. *Need to catch up on sleep so I can make up the missing steps by end of week. Activity *11,477 steps *1 hr Cycling Food *Veggie stew (potatoes, red lentils, broccoli, cauliflower, jalapeno, onions, zucchini, mushrooms) (270) *6 cups lemon tea with sugar *Smoothie (1 lemon and 4 cups strawberries (200) plus sugar) *Sugar (270) *1 cup Mixed nuts/seeds (almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, raisins) (600) *Total estimate: 1340 cal *A bit of guess work on the veggie calories. I made a huge pot of stew from 19 cups of veggies & lentils that will probably take 3 days to finish. Total was 1350 cals. I'm guessing I ate about 1/5 of the stew. So about ~270 for today. And sweets. I still have 300-400 left in my 2000/week sweets calorie budget. |
