Day 1: 185.2 lbs

Commuting and work is brutal today...just 2.5 hours of sleep last night. Some to do with hunger, some to do with my son lol...I have to remember as I am typing this blog post to keep my mental state in mind. Historically, when I am very tired like this I look for sugar. I'm on a ton of caffeine this morning already...

Breakfast: Protein bar, 2 low calorie rock-stars, black coffee, fish oil (500 calories)
Lunch: The usual; prepared chicken salad from Sunday. 2 tangerines. (528 calories)
Dinner: Aiming for a pork chop (423 calories) and some broccoli. (468 calories)

1496 calories total on a (185.2 * 8 = 1481.6) calorie diet. Just 16 calories over.

Day 2: 184.8lbs.

Breakfast: Pork Chop from yesterday. I had 2 cooked yesterday but only ate one.

Lunch: The usual; apple & banana; chicken salad with light italian dressing

Dinner: Wife is making a spicy shrimp and veggies tonight. Excited for that. Its made with garlic, chili peppers, oyster sauce; don't know exactly how she makes it but it is always really good.

Day 3: 185.4 lbs.

Fitting pizza into my calories yesterday. Had 500 calories left for dinner and I ate 2 medium slices for a total of 460 and ate some shrimp and squash which pushed me over my caloric limit by 150 or so but I also worked out yesterday as well. Got in a good hour workout with pull-ups, push-ups, lots of leg exercises.

Going out to dinner tonigth as well so I will have to pull up a menu online before I can go and see what I am allowed to eat. I purposely skipped breakfast and eating just chicken salad for lunch so I can have a good 800 calories to play with for dinner.

Day 4: 187.4 lbs.

Yesterday's date night was a lot more calories than planned. I haven't eaten at / or above maintenance since I started this diet so I'll take it as a refeed and move on. Feeling good today. Good sleep. UFC fights tonight. Very excited!

Fish oil - 60
Bugles - 50
4 thin cut pork chops - 400

My margin of error here is +/- 100 calories on the pancakes. Not sure how many calories exactly.

Day 6: 188.2 lbs

I reckon since I didn't eat until late last night and only slept a few hours; a lot of this is just food weight.

One more day before I record a weekly average. I was 187 lbs last time; we shall see what I get for week 2.

Day 7: 187.4

Start: 190.6 lbs
Week 1 Average: 187.0 lbs
Week 2 Average: 186.34 lbs

Week 2 was marked by a few days of dieting and counting calories and a few days of "estimating" and letting some calories go here and there. A lot of social events as well. Only lost 2/3s of a pound. I will begin this next week with renewed focus. I would like to see my week 3 average at 185.0 lbs.

Still need to find ways to increase activity. Luckily (or not) spring is around the corner and I will probably be cutting grass soon enough...That always gets me an easy 1 and a half hours of walking.

I'm with you! I didn't do this in purpose but my weekly average recordings land during the week. I find it much easier to adhere to a diet during the work week which also makes it easy to get back on track to a diet when you're already getting back into "the routine." I got complacent and stopped counting the little things like croutons in salad and eating 1 or 2 lindor chocolates at work (turns out just one of those little bastards has 79 calories in them!). Needless to say they added up.

I see in your log you're hovering above the arbitrary 190lbs. I felt great beating that now. 185lbs is next.
