I would strongly advise against medicating your sleep with alcohol, weed, benzodiazepines, etc. as all of those negatively affect sleep quality.

Get sunlight or some other bright light early in the day and avoid getting too much 'blue' light (including computer/phone/ipad) late in the day.

If you drink coffee then drink it only in the first hour after waking up.

Place more of your stimulating activity (stress, intense exercise, social events) earlier in your day to whatever extent possible.

There's more you can do but that should get you started. If the above doesn't work and you really think it's RFL that prevents you from sleeping then change to a diet with a more modest deficit and include some carbs in the evening.

Reducing blue light later in the day can help.

The latest android OS includes a blue light filter than can be activated.

if you use earlier versions of android you need to to root your phone/fondleslab to use f.lux

f.lux is also available for windows, linux and macos. I have no idea about ios devices.
