Default Editing your own posts

Did we lose this ability or is it just me? It seems we can still edit our own posts, but the window to do so has shortened considerably.

If we did lose it, was it somehow tied to the moderation change?

The system is set up to give you an hour to edit the posts, after that point you can't.

I think it might be a time based thing.

Like if you edit it in the first few mins after creating it, it won't leave a note that you edited it.
If you edit it some period after that, it leaves a note saying you edited and the timestamp.

And then after some longer period, the ability to edit at all goes away.

Or maybe I'm just totally making that up, but my brain told me that.

I too have wanted to go back and remove all of the times I've said on here how much I like Kelly Clarkson's music.

Be grateful we let you remove your Adam Lambert drooling fan adoration.

I just wanted to bump this.

Up until recently, I was able to go back to old posts (like days/months/years old) and edit them or remove attachements.

I'd like to remove the picture attachments in my log, but can no longer do so.
Is there anyway that the ability to do so could be returned? Or is it something you could do as moderator Lyle?

I'll do whatever Lyle wants, but if you PM'd me a specific request to remove a picture, I'd be happy to do so.
