Default Which leg press machine would be better?

We have two leg press machines at the gym.

If you had to choose between seated leg press machines, which would you pick?

A. http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...dLegPress.html

or

B. https://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/seated-leg-press

Go to the gym, try them both, see which one you like better.

I've been at gyms that had both. A was a pretty old model from what I remember. I don't think it has the smaller increments of 5lbs to add weight, just the 20lb jumps between plates. Be prepared that you will likely need to find a way to add 5 lb plates to it. B seems to be the official leg press of hotels, so if you're at once with a well stocked gym you'll still get to use the same equipment traveling.

I use the second one, at heavy weights it made my joints hurt, so I do the single leg now. Much better.

I hate that most leg press machines start you from flexed position.

It's mostly a preference thing, one isn't inherently better than the other.

I tend to like B more because I feel like I can really work my legs on it.
