Ha! It's all relative. I should be able to do 8-10 x 3@BW. At a lower BW, of course

thanks for stopping by, and thanks for the "welcome backs."

Earlier this spring we bought a 1/4 of a grass-fed cow from a local farm. (Cow-pooling!)

Had a sirloin steak from our cow-pool last night. Unbelievably tasty. And, there are just enough leftovers for my lunch. Oh, happy day.

P 153 /F 13 / Cho 22 (includes veggies, does not include fish oil)

30 min moderate intensity on the elliptical
quick lower body workout -- leg press, leg curl, leg extension, & calf raises, 3 work sets each

Strength in my lower body is way down, too, and my upper body is super sore. That's what I get for taking a long break! It feels good to be off the break, though.

Went out for dinner last night. I had a dinky green salad, no dressing, with what couldn't have been more than 3 ounces of chicken. The Boy polished off a adult-sized serving of salmon and some green beans, and, because he was still hungry, a side of black beans and rice. And a small serving of ice cream when we got home. I have visions of 4-digit weekly food bills when he reaches his teenage years ...

30 min walking
short upper body workout

Lifting wasn't great. My upper body was still very sore from the first UB session back, but I also didn't seem to have a lot of energy. Probably the low carbs kicking in.

am weight: 149.4.
I know that I'm glycogen depleted, so with a refeed I'd be back above 150. Still, I'm happy to see the 140s on the scale.

I've always wanted to do a cow-pool.

Congrats on the 140s!

My macro counts are probably off, but close enough. We went out for dinner, and even though I ordered RFL-friendly food, I couldn't get a good sense of the amount of protein, for example. Do the best you can & move on.

Happy Mother's Day, mothers!

P 171/ F 12 / Cho 14

lower body workout + 20 min walking

I did back squats today for the first time in a long, long time. It's never been a favorite exercise, and it tends to exacerbate an old hip injury. But, it still felt good to get under the bar. I kept the weights light, no more than 100 lbs. Finished it off with heavier sets of leg presses, leg curls, leg extensions, and calf raises, threw in some ab work and back extensions, and that's all she wrote. We'll see if I can walk in 2 days...
