Default Does this count as ketogenic diet?

I am trying to lower my carb to the absolute minimum by cuttng foods like bread rice pasta etc to force my body to burn fat.

Basicly i eat high fat high protein low carbs..but if i still eat alot of fruits and veggies, nuts and peanut butter is it still ketogenic diet?

I am 20, 6.1 195-200 pounds and very athletic but i have some stubborn fat that just wont leave and i think its because i have been on high carb all my life ( Where im from we focus more on rice and pay little attention to anything else.) And eating like this all my life up until now i think is why i have problems.

Ketogenic diets will not force your body to lose fat.

Eating fewer calories than you expend will force your body to lose fat.

Ketogenic diet is defined primarily by total carbohdyrate intake. What is yours? Not that it matters, there is nothing magic about ketosis. Calories are going to be a bazillion times more relevant.

Are you in Asia? I live in Asia (Philippines) and I know what you mean about eating rice.
