![]() You think that's disgusting - on Tuesday I had a bit of an upset stomach, went to the bathroom and pretty much passed what must have been pure fish oil.
The smell was like nothing else I've ever experienced, like a bowl full of rotten fish heads. It was so bad it made me wretch, I actually had to stand up, turn round and vomit into the bowl, right on top of all the oil. Since I'd just eaten a tin of tuna this was also fishy smelling. This was all in the toilet at work by the way. |

![]() It really does pay to spend a bit extra on your fish oil, if you pop a cap open and it smell offish its probably rancid. It should smell slightly fishy of course but if you're venturing into fish market smell territory you've probably got a cheap brand.

![]() It's got USP branding and the one consumer reports thing I saw that did fish oils found that all but like 2 brands more than met label claims, had no issue with mercury, etc. and were not rancid.
If youcan't handle pills, pay the extra bucks for Carlson's. Otherwise, go cheap. |
