Had the same problem as you. Got lactose free MPI and Whey Isolate. Now my life isn't so smelly.

lactose-free milk protein isolate.

I've also had extremely bad gas lately. I'm almost a week off of RFL (Cat 2), and the only things I can think of that may be at fault are:
-milk
-steel cut oats

I cut out the milk today (was drinking 2-3 cups/day after workouts), but my gas today was still pretty bad. Hopefully it's just a delayed effect.

I don't think it's the MPI (I use Metabolic Drive). I've done the Velocity Diet in the past (PSMF where you only consume Metabolic Drive), and my gas was never this bad.

I'd give the lactose test a couple of days to see how it goes. And keep eating the oats, of course.

Every whey protein isolate I've used is lactose free, and most say so right on the bottle. The protein fat thing is pretty common, but have you considered the Red Bull? If you drink it frequently, as your name implies (unless it's some other reason, which caused you to make Red Bull your handle) this may be the cause of your gas. I know it gives me horrid gas, I'm talking about putrid. Try dropping that for a couple of days.

Are the proteins you are buying flavoured, thickened, sweetened and/or filled with all sorts of other crap?

I switched to unflavoured, unadulterated plain protein powder (WPI and/or Calcium Caseinate) and all my digestive worries disappeared over night, not to mention the flavours were gag-inducing. and I drank the protein with skim milk...lots of it and still no worries so I don't think it was a lactose issue...

Here in Oz the bulk of the mainstream powders I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy because of the 'added value' they all seem to come with.
