Default And the beat goes on

Week 4 Day 1
95.4kgs -4.6kg


So that is the 10lbs lost mark for my imperial friends and I still have another 3 full weeks to go. That will put me three days before the holiday. Ideally another 3-4kg / 6-8lbs in that time would be awesome and should be showing so visible abs! I reckon that may put me at 14-15% BF.

I have really back off training for this stint and seems to be working well. I have also got my head round the weight fluctuations and dont care so much anymore where they used to drive me insane!

Week 4 Day 3
95.9kg


Ran only 3km and then walked the rest. Really had no energy.

Weight has stalled for a couple of days. Made cauliflower "fried rice" last night - was delicious. mix of chicken, lean bacon, prawns and tofu all in the rice along with mushrooms, green beans, capsicum.

Probably fairly salty so maybe retaining a water.

Week Day 4 Day 7
96.8kg -3.2kg


Bit of a free weekend. Felt Body was stalling and completion of week 4. The body needed a bit of a diet break was constantly tired. Have a reset for 3-4 days. Bit more of a la UD2.0 style over the weekend.

One more day then back to a 3.5 week run to the holiday.

96.8kg (-3.2kg)


Consumed 3000 glorious calories last night as a part of a final re-feed before an additional three weeks of dieting to take me to my holiday departure date.

Full of carbs and looking fairly lean. At this stage I think I will still run as a cat 2 but open to thoughts.

Joining a normal gym now. Crossfit gyms have been proving to be difficult to make the opening times then on top of doing my own thing in the corner.

Feeling a bit under the weather. Been surfing in the morning and the water has been freezing cold. Not sure if it compounded by a heavy full body workout yesterday.

Anyway weight has dropped. I would like a 95.Xkg to become a permanent fixture.

Dripping off the weight. Felt a bit rough yesterday thought i was getting a cold so increased carbs to 80grams. Woke up this morning and feel better again. back on track. Made some chanko nabe - awesome stuff and delicious and really satifying...

Back to weight training today - full body workout again.

Week 5 Day 4

Still not in the 95kgs.... I am hovering on the edge - just need that drop to occur! Going to do a bit of cardio this lunch time to try and spur things on. It does mention that at the lower end some cardio could be beneficial. Felt a little fluffy in the mirror this morning. Maybe some extra water from a big bowl of miso based soup yesterday.

Weights yesterday - did an upper body workout. Strength is still there.

Onwards.

Week 6 Day 1

96.5kg -3.5kg


Two weeks and three days left to run on this before vacation.

Last week was a diet break. Things had stalled so I have increased carbohydrates over the last few days and my weight seems to have settleed at 96.5kg after 5 weeks which I am quite pleased with.

Time now to knuckle down and squeeze a bit more life out of this fat.

Tempted to follow UD2.0 starting today works quite well for my schedule with a carb up and normal eating on Saturday - Monday. It is only a two week run through.
