Default Long term T3 usage. Detremental to natural input?

Been seeing alot of conflicting views on this in several forums recently. The general consensus is that you shouldn't be worried about your natural thyroid production when you come off an exogenous dose, you would just need to adjust to a predicted drop in your natural production, altering caloric need etc.. Normal ranges will develop back fairly rapidly. But can t3 really be of detriment in the long term? In the context of forming hypothyroidism. Im yet to see any data on this, but its being argued by some 'guru's and i cant help but ponder.

Maybe if you used high doses for super extended periods. Maybe.

Why would you do this in the first place?

Thyroid usually rebounds fairly quickly

Thanks Lyle, and how much do you consider high and in terms of duration how long is super long? Been cutting since January while using 25-50mcg. Works well but I'm just really paranoid
