Default LBM / FAT ratio during fat loss

I can´t find anymore the Lyle´s article or book where he mentions that

for every 3 (or 4) pounds of total weight loss, probably 1 pound will be lean body mass

Also, in this same reference, he prevents that such ratio cannot be regarded for extra fat people due to conjunctive tissues, etc, and the total lbm loss for this case could reach up to 25%.

If someone knows where this information is located, I would appreciate if such reference can be specified in this post.

Note: I am not very sure that this two pieces of information, ratio and the exception for obese people, are exactly stated as I wrote here.
