Default Crossfit on RFL

I'm new to Crossfit. Before anyone bites my head off, I'm doing RFL as a category 3 female. I'm wondering, since MY crossfit is usually a 5-set full body lift followed by 10-15 minutes of full body cardio... Can I do this twice a week?

I did it yesterday and it SUCKED on RFL. I'll definitely be supplementing with the 5g carbs and a little Gatorade if I do it again. But the real question is whether I should just take off til I get my weight down with RFL bc that's a much bigger priority to me than strength gains or workouts. I'm just trying to use what I've paid for already.

In the book it does say that strenuous exercise should probably be cut back during RFL. If you were doing Crossfit before and were used to the workload it would probably be fine. But if you're still new to it you'll probably be sabotaging your RFL results.
