Default Leg Press Instead of Squats on Power Day

Anyone see any issues with doing Leg Presses instead of Squats on the power workout?

Experiencing some tightness in the lower back and don't want to risk further injury...

I know the Power Wkout calls for Squats and Leg Presses... I was thinking I could just do 3 heavy sets of 3-6 reps on Leg Presses and either do a couple extra sets of leg presses at a little lighter weight and maybe go for 6-8 reps or just stick to the 3 sets and all it a day... thoughts?

Thanks for the help!

You will be fine with only leg presses.

Make it 4-6.

3 reps on leg press is not the greatest idea.

I've never quite understood why the words 'sample workout' are so hard to understand in that book.

I am going to guess that a lot of this is with new lifters who, through no fault of their own, think that certain exercises and routines confer magical benefits on the person that other lifts and routines don't. Once you have been in the game for a while you learn that this is all a bunch of BS and what trumps all is hard work, as long as you aren't doing something stupid - as you have said many times.
