![]() You can never be too fat to do RFL. In fact it is ideal for the very obese.

![]() I reread the comments and was told I was too fat for UD2.0; I stand corrected.

Straight deficit at your BF level will do the same trick as these diets, but slower (you said you have 10 weeks IIRC). So why suffer? If you want to, well, it's your choice. UD2 or RFL (which are "concentration camp" diets) are appropriate for lean individuals trying to get super lean. Because muscle retention at that stage is too hard. That's the key point. /end

![]() Did you even read what I wrote? I said I was wrong. But fwiw, I decided to do some low carb dieting and have lost 4lbs. in 9 days. This isn't hard at all and i fact, I feel rather well. Seeing progress in midsection where it's needed most. Strength is great. I figure I can easily lose another 10 in time for our spring break trip.
Sorry to hijack the thread, wasn't my intention. |

I feel euphoric on low-carbs, like I'm on pre-workout all day, so there's that.

![]() I'm also female, cat 3, with low thyroid. I lose fat a lot slower than I'm "supposed" to. Even though I'm cat 3, I find eating as if I'm cat 2 (1 refeed a week) has dramatically slowed down my thyroid dropping too low too fast. That might help her?
