Default Bulking

Hello guys,

I know this may sound lazy but i want to get into this ASAP and i don't really have much experience with working out in caloric surplus (i only worked out while trying to cut , yo-yo dieting and stuff). What is the optimal/fastest routine for a beginner to lean bulk ? Is the 7 day UD2 optimal for this?

This is my shape with lowest BF before the holidays (i used them for "maintenance" eating). Is there any exercise/muscle group i should prioritize to make the hourglass shape more into a straight torso (V shape is out of the question with my hip bones) ?

Btw, Happy 2017 !

No. UD means Ultimate DIET. Not Ultimate BULK. Search main site for beginner routines or consider the generic bulking routine.

What he said ^^. Broad shoulders should help take care of that hourglass shape. Lean waist, broad shoulders for the win. Horizontal and vertical presses, lateral and rear shoulder raises.

Well there is a bulking variant of UD2.0.

But for someone at your level, I would recommend following Lyle's recommendations for sensible bulking as discussed in the article on the main site about this.

Bingo. Shoulder to waist ratio is king. Ideal is 1.618 me thinks.
