Default Optimal caffeine schedule?

Hi,

I just recently stopped using caffeine everyday to be able to really enjoy its benefits when I'm taking it.

Now I'm looking for the optimal schedule to use caffeine. I don't want to cycle it, because then I'd always get withdrawal symptoms on the first days off. I'd rather want to use it about every 2nd to 5th day. Mainly for training, but also sometimes for work in conjunction with l-theanine.

Suggestions?

That's how I do it, only on training days (which is EOD), so I don't develop tolerance. And combining it with theanine, to off-set anxious side effects.

Even if you develop tolerance, up the dose. Caffeine is magic.

Search for TeaCrineŽ, also known as theacrine. Its effects are similar to caffeine but without the tolerance and withdrawal effects. Some pre-workout supplements and energy pills are starting to show up containing this stuff.

Note: Cellucor calls it TeaCor and puts it in their pre-workout as well (C4). I'm sure there are others as well.

I have zero caffeine tolerance so I microdose with Penguin caffeinated mints (7mg each -- usually I take two).

If you take caffeine less often than every other day, then you won't develop a tolerance. I have done this before in school, and during exam weeks I would increase my dosages to every day. But then go light the next week, have headaches for a couple days, and pretty much be back to normal. The way you want to schedule it should work fine.

I feel like I need caffeine to function and focus. I take in a good 300-400mg daily. Mostly in the morning but also diet sodas in the evenings for dinner.
