Default Clomid making me fat

Is there an OTC I can take that will offset some of the increases in estrogen I'm getting from taking clomid? If possible I'd rather go this route than change to a Dr that would prescribe me anti estrogens. I had this when I was on TRT too, I feel better and it gets my T level to normal but it makes me fat.

I don't get it, you used Clomid and testosterone at the same time or you have had elevated estrogen on TRT?

What is your estrogen level (ultrasensitive) and T:E ratio?

There's two ways to decrease E2: reduce the dosage or take AI (I would not use Arimidex, since it's hard on lipids, Aromasin is better choice).

Don't take DIM, it does nothing for estrogen.

Before TRT I was at 210 T with 14 E was a fairly lean 185. My T was 600, and my E was 37 on TRT and I weighed around 205 some extra muscle but mainly fat and not as good as I looked at 185. I stopped TRT using HCG. I was on nothing for 3 months and my T went back to 210. I have used clomid 50 mg per day for the past 4 months and my T is at 560. I dont know E right now but I'm guessing it's up there because I'm a chubby 205 again. I've recently cut down to 25 mg a day to see what happens.

I probably just need a dift Dr. for a more comprehensive program if OTCs are crap.

That's T:E ratio of 16, which is perfect. Optimal ratio is 14-20.

Check your E2 if you think it's problem. Water retention can be caused by more stuff then estrogen alone.

Btw 50mg ED of clomid is PCT dose, that's far too high dosage, your E2 was jacked up for sure.

Try 50mg EOD or 25mg daily.

Thanks, I'll just continue the 25 mg to see what happens. If I have the time I'll try to find a Dr that will give me a more comprehensive panel, but I haven't had much luck with the first two. I mean they helped some but seem to not care about the finer details of HRT.

That may explain why I'm a "Clomid unicorn", my E is 13 at >600 T at a dose of 50 mg every M/W/F.

I was going to say 50 mg is a massive dose compared to anything I've read. 50 mg EOD is the highest I've read.

Yeah, 50mg daily is PCT dose literally. Anything from 12.5mg to 25mg daily should be ok. Or 25 EOD, 50 EOD, whatever the schedule is.

Hm, you have pretty low E2 levels. Are you feeling any symptoms of low estrogen or everything is fine?

What would the symptoms be?

I have generalized anxiety (mostly performance anxiety, but it's well managed, seeing as I speak in public weekly) and OCD, but the OCD is improving, slowly, but it's improving.

Other than that, I would say I'm not the most emotional person in the world, but that's a fairly general statement.

The 13 is an improvement over what it was...which was undetectable levels. My SHBG is always really high too, like 50 - 60 or higher.

I also have GAD (performance anxiety or social anxiety, whatever).

Well, most notable symptoms of low E2 are fatigue, lethargy, and joint pain.

For SHBG, as long as free test is good, you have nothing to worry about.
