Well its been almost 8 years since i first posted in this thread on page 11 and i was just under 15% back then.

Looking at shedding some pounds and would like to know what % I am starting at - what would you say ?

Default Hey, can I get an estimate?

6'1, 190lbs here, about a month into my cut after a longer than intended time off from lifting.
Relaxed front.

Tensed front.

Back.

Relaxed legs.

Going to get into the 10% or slightly higher range using GFD, just trying to figure where I'm at at the moment.

I honestly don't see abs, could just be the potato lighting or resolution. Based on your shoulders and chest I say between 16-20.

Thanks. Yeah I have a lousy camera. However, I am getting visually leaner, I can see it. Also, clothes are getting losier every day. Considering I started at 35% BF, I am happy with my progress. Getting an additional 5 % BF off is my ultimate goal and I am in no rush.

You are 17!

Don't be afraid to eat plenty and lift the heavy things.

The only way you are likely to gain a lot of fat and not muscle at your age would be to train insufficiently to stimulate muscle growth.

You don't even have to worry that much about macros...get plenty of meat and dairy for protein, otherwise just eat what you like. Pizza and burgers are fine...might not want to go all in on beer and soda though.

Eat plenty and you may even get a little taller still.

Wow hearing that is a great relief to be honest. I really don't want to get lighter at the moment. I was on the wrestling team last year and went from 145lbs to 111 and grew 3 inches but it was all super unhealthy. I have recently increased calories from 1800 to 2200 and not any weight gain for 2 weeks still and I feel so much better. Hit 110X3 bench for the first time!

I am currently doing 2 weeks maintenance but want to cut for 2 more months afterwards with the goal of getting to 10%. I am trying to Identity a strategy that will get me there with the least pain possible. RFL? Or is 2 months enough time for a regular deficit to get me there from where I am sitting now... 91 kg, 187 cm tall.
