Bathroom snack. I'm assuming most of us probably don't make it through the night without getting up to pee, anyway, and that way you can quickly rinse with something, right after. Otherwise you might have a rude surprise waiting for you at the dentist.

Other than that - as much as I cringe just writing this - last time I checked the research was most positive toward journaling / sleep tracking for helping general sleep problems. Basically you track when you laid down, when you think you fell asleep, what your perceived quality of sleep was, how many times you woke up, how long those waking periods were, and when you finally got out of bed. Supposedly, long term that has better results for general insomnia than drugz, which the people who put the thing together explain with some hand-waivey hippie-dippie 'it sets your mind up to take sleep seriously' jibberish. Can't argue with results, though. And ultimately I think that, unfortunately, the best way to approach sleep problems is idiosyncratically, through a lot of trial and error. Just keep in mind that, even if adding a few % bf does help for a while, it could be for reasons entirely other than what you think, and possibly crap out at any time.

Thanks for the well thought out tips man! I've added some fat to my diet so it's about 22% intake now and doing tons better!

I might be doing the phil heath show in March with a friend in classic physique. Hes unsure if he'll do that one or one of the ones after (there are so many in texas I lose track ). It's right around the bend so I think I'll hold off my test/dbol bulk till after and just stay at 3200ish calories till February and do a mild 6 to 8 week lean out. Gonna stick with 10-16 sets/wk and just work on strength mostly.

I've made some serious improvements as far as gut goes by sticking with white rice as my carb source. Mill protein isolate doesnt also bother me. But either way I'm gonna try to get a specialist appointment to find out why even benign stuff on the low FODMAPs list like potatoes spinach strawberries etc ruin my digestion.

Little physique update. At 199.8 today. I gained some bodyfat over the holidays overeating but feel ok about it. My sleep libido and hunger are much better. Maintaining at 3100 to 3200 ish. Been a little lazy about cardio too we are having some cold days in Texas.

Just about getting over a bout if allergies and possibly "cedar fever"? God I hate central Texas so bad. Been hitting 8 to 14 sets so weights are good, cardio has taken a backseat with increased work hours and sickness.

I took fatty's advise and scheduled a meal around midnight or so when I wake up ravenous. Been sleeping quite well, think I'll make it a mainstay. Something sugary like a PB jelly or couple poptart do the trick.

Things are about the same except I'm a bit stronger. Had to switch to a 3 day routine due to work. Hitting chest/back/delt twice a week with lower+arms. Gonna start adding a short session of cardio soon recovery between sets slightly lowered. Being more liberal with fat intake and feeling better. Sometimes up to 30% of cals due to fattier steak.

Week went pretty well except pigging out on a lot of junk throughout Friday. Back on schedule today. I spent a good two hrs Friday drenched in sweat presumably burning off simple sugars as heat. wasnt too pleasant. feeling pretty strong and full however. The dbol skyrocketed my estrogen had crazy emotional swings almost broke down crying for absolutely no reason during work Thursday. It's under control now. I like estrogen a bit on the higher side due to positive effects on mood libido and joints but the oral definitely spikes it a little more than acceptable.
