It really does work quite well.
I haven't gained a pound. Actually I've lost 10 pounds since stating it and gained muscle.

Nice. I looked at it briefly after he mentioned it. Mood stabilizer with an anti-depressant as I recall. He said it was the first thing that really made him feel RIGHT.

$1000/month without great insurance or coupons.

I feel like I have a personality again.
Before I felt like this entity... An entity that was just responding to stimuli.
Not human... Lacking a connection to the emotions I was letting out.

Like a stranger walking through fog... Sounds weird but everything was cloudy.

1000 dollars !!!!! That's absurd... That's like more then I make.. Jesus Christ.

In Canada most psychiatrists have free samples. It definitely makes it cost a lot less.
Though it depends on the relationship they have with the local drug rep.

You can always ask to get samples...

Thanks for your insights Lyle- your sharing of your story can only help others dealing with it or similar issues. I am not personally affected, but we all have our "stuff" and I've found your story inspiring.
Can't wait for the new book next week!

I always wondered if Yohimbine was dangerous thing for a bipolar individual.
Lyle having written so much about it...how did it effect you?
Did it ever make you manic?

If someone was on a stable cocktail of meds do you think it could still cause issues?

How did Clen effect you? Is it also a bipolar no no..?

My stuff is too seasonal to judge, I'm not one of those people for whom single things throw me off the rails or kicks me from one phase to another. So I can't comment.

I found these very interesting blog posts/articles on bipolar disorder. It's an alternative theory, and a discussion of possible new medication regimens. May seem a bit 'out there', but this guy, to me has the requisite skepicism and tentativeness about his speculations to be at least half-way trustworthy..

A summary:
"My idea is that bipolar, at its root, is nothing more than a Neanderthal sleep-wake cycle. Its maladaption to a modern human circadian rhythm, combined with creative psychological story-writing mechanisms (covered later), are what propels an underlying “sleep” or “awake” state into depression or mania, respectively."

Be glad that cursing is not allowed on this forum for me to tell you what I think of that degree of utter horse crap.

Because the sentence "my idea" means he's pulling crap out of his butt and should just shut up and let people who understand physiology talk about this topic rather than leading people down the path of bs.

Now please get out of my personal thread.
