At the risk of polluting the responses, here are readings I took myself. I used (x4) different types:

Slim Guide C‑120 Skinfold Caliper, 3 pt chest/thigh/abs: 10.5%
Manual skinfold calipers (I decide pressure manually), 3 pt chest/thigh/abs: 13%
Eat Smart Precision Getfit Scale (normal body type setting): 15%
Eat Smart Precision Getfit Scale (athletic body type setting): 11%
I look almost the same bf%wise, would also like to know what you guys think.

Default Results from my cut.

Bottom left: Jan 1

Top right: May 15

Middle and Bottom Right: Aug 10

Still making some progress. Am I at least below 15% bf you think? I'm starting to get pretty hungry during the day.

Thank you Lyle. This website is a game changer once you understand the mechanisms behind fat loss/muscle gain.

Spun my wheels for years prior to finding this site.

Navy method, BF scale (yeah I know they suck), and eyeballs are giving me three pretty different numbers.

6"1' 168. 43 yo, down about 45lbs.

Please help. thanks.

Nice work! So I'll say that it is a bit difficult to judge because you have some loose skin but if I had to throw a number out there I'd say 14%. Are you carb loaded or depleted?
What do your other three estimates yield?

Any ideas about my bf%?

180cm/80kg 5'10"/176lb

I guess there´s some loose skin in the lower abdominal area from dropping nearly 60lb in 8 months.

6.2% at the moment at 78.8KG at 5'5"

I do have a very nice set of harpenden skinfold calipers though Im not even sure if I trust the accuracy at 0.1mm as even a slight move in location can give a different measurement in terms of mm

Thanks for the number, brah. My eyeballs say 19 (agree the loose skin is vexing) the scale says 17, and Navy says 14. I get about 20% of my daily 1600cal from carbs, as I have for the past year with no obvious ill effects. Not (yet?) dieting cyclically so I don't know whether you would call me loaded or depleted. Neither?
