To be honest I shouldn't men ion the word cardio as much as I would like to think I am doing it, I am not really. At best it would he twice per week consisting of 30 secs on and 40 secs off running on a treadmill at 8mph, for 8 rounds.

Okay then I would follow what I said after that. Once the 2 weeks is up, pick a deficit you are comfortable with and diet from there.

Be sure to include diet breaks regularly in the future. I never used to see their value but the leaner I get the more I like them.

Ok so I started the 1250 calories on Monday.
145P/90C/35P thereabouts.

I have lost 2lbs in the last 2 days and that's with my monthly women's issues.

Too much?

Thanks.

Nope thats completely fine. Probably mainly water because of diet and hormonal stuff. Goodluck with the diet!

Ok, update.

Zero net gain/loss after 1 week on 1250 calories.

EDIT: To be clear, you really should consult your doctor about this and see what they say as well. I dont know your genetics, family history, medications, etc and they may have an effect on this as well.

Go another week. If you are still seeing 0 net gain/loss then:
1) You are counting incorrectly and are eating too much
or/and
2) Something may be going on hormonal wise or you may have physical issues. May want to go to Doc and get a hormonal panel or get their perspective.

My girl kinda has this similar issue too. Women have a lot of water retention from what I've noticed. The lower maintenance also screws with it.

What is your maintenance again? 1250 may not be that huge of a deficit as well.

I went and had my thyroid etc tested as I should be losing weight with what I eat and the way I train. Everything came back normal range, no pre menopause or thyroid issues etc.

2000 maintenance from.what I can tell.

And yet I weigh myself toady and I'm down 1 pound overnight.

It's been said a million times. You hold water. In fact, the more you stress about it, the more water you hold. Just trust the system and apply it. That's all there's to it.
