Work people went for lunch yesterday and it was vietnamese so I couldn't refuse and got a no-noodle soup, even though I always gain a pound from all the salt. Then it occurred to me last night they may add sugar to their broth as well, but who knows. Let's go with the salt explanation for now!!

Workout: ugh still haven't gotten my act together after the time change to wake up early enough for a workout

Yesterday was a real f*ckaround double kick in the nuts. fell on ice TWO times. all bruised up. burned my hand on my toaster oven making drunk nachos - more on that below - and the worst, my car, which is one of my great loves, and supposedly would be worth around 10k if it wasn't completely f*cked, was determined to be "condemned" yesterday when it was in for a regular oil change. rusty broken frame, not roadworthy, bla bla. so i cried and cried and wondered how i will get around since i have zero cash for a new car at the moment and then I poured a bunch of wine on that. then, after I had a bit of a buzz going, nachos seemed to be a great idea. yet somehow today i weigh a lb less.

having a very hard time convincing myself to eat RFL today. I made it through a protein shake, but we will see what happens at lunch. btw, has anyone tried this costco kaizen protein pow? SO GROSS. so gross.

Super bloated today, and not sure why as yesterday was a solid RFL day. Friday was a complete disaster - was still too depressed about my car to convince myself to eat salad and had chinese food at lunch and nachos for dinner, but saturday was decent. Ah well, grinding it out this week and going to get onto the EC too, as I have avoided it up until now. Only 2 weeks left on this round so it's time to get some actual results happening!

Workout: slept in..... AGAIN... woke up at 3:30 and could not go back to sleep for 2 hours, then overslept big time. so no workout again. sunday was the only workout I have gotten in for 3 weeks! crap

I read through my 2015 logs again to get some motivation back on this RFL thing. I had been feeling like I've had limited success the last few rounds and it was starting to get to me... It's energy sapping, then the worse I feel like I do, the less hard I go at it and it's a negative feedback cycle. It's funny, though, up until last round results were ACTUALLY pretty typical, so this is all just in my head!

But I feel like this quick review of my past success has snapped me out of it! 2 weeks to go on this round, & so far I have lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks. I'm going to try for 6 more, but be happy with whatever I get. In 2015 I lost 42 lbs in 8 months by just keeping at it regardless of the setbacks, so that is what I will do again. I am more than half way to that 42 lb mark (25lbs down since early 2017) and 1/3 of the way to my overall goal, so screw it. Going to get this done!!!

Total damage from 2 enormous free Easter meals and lots of wine on the weekend is not all that bad.

Wasn't able to get dinner down last night; was feeling pretty gross for some reason, hence the low macros.

I have decided I am going to end the round a couple of days past the 28 day mark, as that will be a Tuesday and why not work hard a little longer and diet up to Friday evening! So I have 7.5 days to go after today. I am wavering on having a free meal. I really started craving no-noodle pho or shawarma salad for lunch today, so I feel like a free meal might be inevitable. That said I did miss breakfast today so maybe after feeding myself I will feel less inclined. 7.5 days is not a lot of days to hold out for!! Wish me will power!
