Question Advice on re-calculating cat 3 - 2

I started off as a cat 3 with 29% bodyfat at 117kg, using an on-line calculator I would need to be 110.8kg to hit 25% bodyfat effectively making me a cat 2. Today 10 days into the program I hit 110.5kg on the scale but have to assume a lot of this is water weight. What I'm wondering is how best to determine what weight I should aim to switch to cat 2?

I did think that I could calculate potential losses by using my average daily calorie intake of 1100cal and deduct that from my likely daily expenditure 3500cal which give me a weekly deficit of 16800cal. Assuming 7700cal per kg of fat I could potentially be burning 2.1kg per week. In theory this would take me four weeks to burn just over the 7kg required to hit cat 2.

My first question is would it be best to just wait four weeks then assume I am in cat 2 or is there another method I can use to re-calculate?

Secondly I would like to know what changing categories whilst on the diet does to the length I can safely run it. If cat 3 can run for 12 weeks, cat 2 for six and I swap categories at $WEEKS do I just run the diet for the maximum of the new category, the old category or some mix of the two? I was thinking that if for example I swap categories at four weeks could I potentially run the diet for 8 weeks in total with four weeks in each category?

It's a spectrum so it doesn't matter thát much. Just go for a month and see where you end up. Afterwards, you can always take a 2 week maintenance period to gauge your new weight and make a plan from there.
